This was the end of the original Mega Man series for a very long time.
Released in 1996, it wouldn't see a direct sequel until 2008!

Conquered Mega Man VII (SNES)
Yeah baby! 16 bit!
Interestingly enough, this one ends as a cliff hanger.
The next three Mega Man games that came out after this one were
Mega Man X, X2 and X3
They didn't continue the story line until the Playstation was released!
Which is where I'm headed!

Conquered Mega Man III (NES)
Mega Man 3 seemed pretty long with all the Proto Man fights and revisiting all the bosses from Mega Man 2 as well.
